2025 Amendments to the Hong Kong Harmonized System

The current edition of the Hong Kong Imports and Exports Classification List (Harmonized System) (HKIECL) will be amended and the amendments will take effect from 1 January 2025.  Import and export declarations for shipments on or after 1 January 2025 must be completed in accordance with the amended classification made to the HKIECL.  [Details]


For lodging import/export declarations in Hong Kong, the commodities have to be coded in 8-digit Hong Kong Harmonized System (HKHS) codes.
